The Austrian real estate investor Benko is suspected for money laundering. Benko denies and sees a link to the Kaufhof-deal.

According to the prosecution authority, investigations are already running for several months. There are still loads of documents which are not analyzed yet. The complaint is not anonymous, the prosecution authority explained. Nevertheless, Benko sees a “massive dirty campaigning” against him.
