Increase of childcare rates, but supply of childcare facilities still insufficient for 12% of all persons with childcare responsibilities

In Austria, 1 700 000 persons aged 15 to 64 were taking care of children under the age of 15 in 2010. 12.0% (208 700) of all persons with childcare responsibilities reported problems with the childcare services (women: 155 000; men: 53 700).
