IV’s (Federation of Austrian Industries) economic barometer shows minor increases; there is a gradual return to normal capacity. Only a small momentum is to be expected in employment and earnings growth.

The economic recovery of industry is losing momentum. IV’s economic barometer, which is determined by the average of the assessments of the current business situation and the business situation in six months time, rises slightly from +23 points in the previous quarter to +25 points.
