Hungary: Moderate Increase in Foreign Trade

From January to August 2013, Hungary´s export volume was up by 1.4%. Imports increased by 0.4% year-on-year.

In August 2013, exports amounted to EUR 6.4 billion (HUF 1,911 billion), while imports to EUR 5.8 billion (HUF 1,728 billion). The surplus on the trade balance was EUR 613 million (HUF 184 billion) in the eighth month of the year.
