The volume of industrial production decreased by 1.7% in October.

In October 2012, industrial gross output declined by 1.7% in volume compared to the same month of 2011. This decrease mainly resulted from a drop in demand for communication equipment and consumer electronics, which was not offset by the output increase in the manufacture of transport equipment and in that of food products.
