Slovakia wants to introduce bank taxes. Austria´s Federal President Heinz Fischer, who met his Slovakian counterpart Ivan Gasparovic, does not have objections.

This week, the Austrian Federal President Heinz Fischer completed a state visit in Slovakia. Fischer met the Slovakian President Ivan Gasparovic, who both are in charge since 2004.
Regarding the contentious issue of nuclear power, Gasparovic underlined that Slovakia is dependent on this energy source. About 53% of Slovakia´s energy production is based on nuclear power. „But…
