Fiat Intensifies Investments in Poland

As reported by Polish daily Puls Biznescu, Italian automotive manufacturer Fiat plans on lauching the production of a new series, similar to the so-called Punto.

The Italian carmaker intends to invest PLN 2.36bn (€ 562m) in assembley lines and technology. The development is projected to be completed by the end of 2017, which also involves the creation of 420 new jobs and keeping the 3,000 employees while Fiat’s subcontractors are expected to create 1,500 new jobs and keep the existing 1,900 jobs.
