Burkhard Hofer (66), member and spokesman of the Executive Board of EVN AG, today requested the Supervisory Board of EVN AG to accept the early retirement of his position as member of the Executive Board with effect subsequent to the Annual General Meeting which is scheduled for January 20, 2011.
