Finance Minister Mateusz Szczurek stressed that cutting debts was a key condition for Poland before it could be admitted to the single currency union.

The reduction of the public debt rate was an imporant prerequisite for the country to enter the Eurozone, since Poland should have room for fiscal adjustments when joining the single currency union, Szczurek said.
