In the last weeks, the Czech government considered using its right to veto against the banking union. After the negotiation of the Finance Ministers of the EU, the Czech Minister of Finance Miroslav Kalousek has no concerns anymore if the proposal is accepted by the legal service of the EU. According to Kalousek, the Czech National Bank cannot be circumvented.
