The Middle Eastern airline was allowed to offer 13 connections per week from Dubai to Vienna.

Emirates Airlines has received approval for the strongly disputed second daily flight to Vienna. The positive decision is limited to the winter flight plan (30 October 2011 – 24 March 2012) and is subject to the proviso that data on load factors and passenger flows from Dubai to other destinations are made available to the Austrian Ministry of Transport.
