Voestalpine´s CEO Wolfgang Eder underlines the new compliance rules of voestalpine. Another participation in a cartel would be “impossible”.

The Austrian steel producer rules off the German rail cartel, in which voestalpine participated. Together with the German competitor Thyssen-Krupp, prices and production volumes for the German rail market were arranged. Voestalpine claims to get the key witness status in order to prevent penalties. The steel producer had to build provisions of € 205m last year.
