CESEE Faces Economic Recovery

According to Moody´s, the economic outlook for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe is positive. Nevertheless, the recovery is still fragile.

Analysts of Moody´s report that the CESEE region benefits from a rebound in industrial production. As a result, the exporting industrial sector is CESEE´s main growth driver again. However, consumer confidence remains rather weak. Due to the tight lending policy and the high unemployment rates, domestic demand is still under pressure.
