Spanish construction company and parent company of Austrian Alpine has a new shareholder: Founder of Microsoft Bill Gates has aquired a participation of around six percent.

Gates has aquired a six-percent-participation in return for € 113.5m, as announced by parent company FCC of insolvent Austrian construction enterprise Alpine. At the stock exchange in Madrid FCC’s shares increased by around 13 percent on Tuesday morning after the announcement.
