Austria rose one place, to the 21st, in the ranking of the most liberal economies.

Hong Kong is still considered as the most liberal economy in the world in the ranking of the "2011 Index of Economic Freedom". The study is performed by the Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street Journal. Other top places go to Canada, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
