Austrian Wage Tax Intake Grows

The Austrian wage tax volume totaled 21.6bn in 2010. Gross wages were up by 2.5%.

According to the wage tax statistics, 6,33 million wage tax-payers were recorded in 2010. This is a rise of 1.4% against 2009. Besides 2,27 million retirees, 4.06 million employees were registered.
