For the first half of 2012, the turnover of Austrian service enterprises nominally increased by 2.9% compared to the same period of the year before, according to calculations by Statistics Austria. The first quarter of the year was more dynamic (increase of 4.0%) than the second quarter of 2012 with a turnover increase of only 1.8%.
