The Federation of Austrian Industries (IV) wants a tax relief. In the coming years, the tax quota should be reduced to 38%.

IV complains about the high tax quota in Austria. At the moment, the quota comes at 42%. In the next three to five year, the tax quota should be cut to 38%.
At the same time, the income tax base should be widened. Georg Kapsch, President of IV, underlined that two million individuals do not have to pay an income tax in Austria.
The entry rate should be lower, Kapsch says.…
