Austrian Banks Expected to Pass Auditing

According to the financial supervisors, the Austrian banks are likely to pass the ECB’s (European Central Bank) auditing since there are no significant adjustment requirements.

In total, six Austrian credit institutes fall below the competence of the European Central Bank. “We cannot swear an oath that nothing at all wil happen but we do not see major requirements in adaption,” Helmut Ettl, director of the financial market authority (FMA) said.
