Austria: Foreign Trade Grows Decently

January to November 2012: moderate increase in imports (1.1%) and exports (2.0%)

According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria, total imports amounted to €121.97 bn and total exports amounted to €114.56 bn in the period January to November 2012. Austrian imports increased by 1.1% and Austrian exports rose by 2.0% compared to the same period in 2011. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of €7.41 bn.
