A dispute about the construction of a bridge has intensified. The construction company Alpine has withdrawn from the contract for the building of a highway segment in Poland.

The Austrian construction company has received a contract in 2010 for the construction of a 18.3 kilometers long highway segment of A1 between Swierklany and Gorzyczki in the amount of € 139m in the second run after Alpine withdrew from the first assignment. The project was finished with the exception of the bridge and taken over by public road administration GDDKiA.
